Ashly's POV: James' eyes darted to Josh and it was like that shock from the first time we met had returned. As James followed me out of the room, I crossed my arms and turned to him. "You have a lot of nerve to show your face to me again," James shrugged, "I know," he said, not even believing what he himself had done. "Do you remember the time when I caught you crying near Josh's bed?" I shook my head, looking at him like he was crazy. "What?" I said not believing that he was bringing this up at a time like this. "I took you to the window," He continued, "And I asked you what you saw. You said 'I see some trees. Some cars passing. A man and a woman putting a newborn baby in their car. And I see that the sky's still blue,' and you smiled. That, Ashly Osment, that is the moment I fell in love with you," I looked at James with tears in my eyes. "You know I can't do this to Josh," James looked down and nodded. "Right... II shouldn't have come," he said and left slowly down the h! allway as if he were waiting for me to call his name, we'd kiss and everything would be all right just like in the movies. As I entered Josh's room, I was wiping away some tears that had escaped. "I can't believe you're awake," I said, leaning against the wall, looking at him. He looked up at me, with sad eyes.
