Adam Yauch arrested at protest for a free Tibet, in San Francisco 1996

The day after the first Tibetan Freedom Concert held in San Francisco in June, 1996, a protest for a free Tibet was held outside the Chinese Consulate. Beastie Boys' Adam Yauch, who organized the festival, was among several people who practiced civil disobedience and chose to be arrested. Look carefully, you might notice Perry Farrell and Flea participating. This video captures Yauch's release from the San Francisco Police and a short interview he gave a reporter about what happened. Audio quality is a bit rough at times with street noise in the background. Sorry! *RIP MCA*
